BBC Studios Exhibition Stand – Brand Licensing Europe

Showtime Exhibitions were appointed to deliver a large scale exhibition stand for BBC Studios at Brand Licensing Europe 2025, one of the leading events for global brand licensing and entertainment.

The aim of the stand was to create a visually engaging space that would showcase BBC Studios’ portfolio of brands, attract attention across the exhibition hall, and provide a functional environment for meetings, networking, and commercial discussions.

The Brief

BBC Studios required an exhibition stand that would reflect the strength and diversity of its global brand portfolio, while also delivering a premium experience for visitors and partners.

The stand needed to include:

• Strong visual branding and content display
• Large scale graphics and digital media integration
• Dedicated areas for meetings and engagement
• A layout capable of handling high visitor volumes
• A sustainable approach with reusable materials

The project also needed to align with modern exhibition standards, particularly around sustainability and reusability.

The Stand

The final stand covered approximately 112 square metres, creating a significant presence within the exhibition hall.

Key features included:

• Large format branded walls constructed using timber and MDF
• Integrated lightboxes and digital display areas
• Open meeting and seating areas for client engagement
• A rigged overhead structure with central lighting features
• High quality furniture and AV integration throughout
• Clear zoning to showcase multiple BBC brands

The design allowed for strong visual storytelling while maintaining a clean and professional layout for meetings and interaction.

Sustainability & Materials

A key element of this project was its focus on sustainability and reuse.

The stand was constructed using materials and components designed for multiple uses, including:

• Timber and MDF walling systems
• Reusable raised flooring platforms
• LED lighting systems
• Modular furniture and equipment
• Reusable graphics and lightboxes

Many of these elements were carefully dismantled and prepared for reuse after the event, supporting a more sustainable approach to exhibition stand construction.

Build and Delivery

The project involved full workshop production, transportation, installation, and dismantling.

The build included:

• Pre-fabrication of structural elements in the workshop
• On-site installation of large scale walling and display systems
• Integration of lighting, AV, and branding elements
• Final finishing to ensure a high quality presentation

The scale of the stand required careful coordination to ensure everything was delivered on time and to specification.

The Outcome

The completed stand gave BBC Studios a strong and highly professional presence at Brand Licensing Europe.
